Jessica through Brett’s Eyes

Jessica is my favorite person. Perhaps I am a tad biased, but I believe she is one of the most amazing women in the world! Jess grew up in Utah as a desert girl. You can take the girl out of the desert (though it is very hard!), but you can never take the desert out of the girl. She carries the warmth and fire with her in everything she does. Jess studied business, with and emphasis in Experience Design. She loves transforming people by delivering unique experiences. She has worked over the years in various fields in events, health care, and tourism. She always makes time in her busy day to prioritize family. Whether it is giving her siblings a call, taking care of our home, listening to my ramblings, grooming our dog, or planning for our future; Family is Always First! From her earliest memories as an oldest child, Jess has had one true goal and passion in life - motherhood. She learned young to nurture and care for her siblings.  She often can be found holding a baby or toddler and giving their mother assistance. She is also naturally interested in young people and goes out of her way to make friends with and learn from the ones she meets. Jess is so incredibly loyal and looks for opportunities to nurture. Once she commits to something, she gives it her all. I have not one shadow of a doubt that she will make an exceptional mother. Besides, I’m really looking forward to someone else to blame the little messes on around the home, so please help us to grow our family!

Brett through Jessica’s Eyes

I was first attracted to Brett because he always did what he thought was right no matter what others were doing. He always speaks kindly of everyone around him and is constantly looking for opportunities to serve others. He also knows how to have a lot of fun! Brett works hard to provide a comfortable life for our family.

Some of his favorite things to do are wrestle, play, laugh, and joke with his son, nieces, and nephews. He is well known as the favorite uncle, and has developed an excellent set of cheesy jokes and Peek-a-boo skills. As a young man he became Red Cross Babysitter certified and loves being able to help children grow. Living far away from extended family, he has built a vast network of dear friends and neighbors that mean the world to him as well.

Brett served a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Brazil and loves to use his Portuguese whenever possible. He has since learned Spanish and has goals to learn a few more languages. He loves learning new things and sharing ideas.

Brett is a hopeless romantic and never misses an opportunity to share his love, even if it’s a little silly. He loves with his entire being and is an amazing father.

 Extended Family

We are extremely blessed with love and support from our extended family and friends!

Jessica is the oldest of 4. Growing up she has always been best friends with her mother and the leader of the pack. Brett is the youngest of 3 (by far). The large age gap between him and his siblings means lots of nieces and nephews, which has helped bring his life meaning and joy since the age of 6.

Jessica grew up in Southern Utah surrounded by extended family. We enjoy filling our shoes with red dirt as we spend time with family and friends. We have family in Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, and Virginia and we get together with each member of our family as often as possible. When we are not able to travel, we love to welcome our family to our home.

We have excellent relationships with each of our family members. We have been so blessed to have such a wonderful support system, near and far.  We enjoy regular family reunions with welcoming cousins, aunts, uncles, and adoring  grandparents. Everyone is excited to love and support our newest family member.

Our Home

After a few years living just outside of Winchester, Virginia, we are happy to be back in Southern Utah and living close to many family members. We are love living here! Our home is an open floorplan with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We are located on a few acres and enjoy having space for our many chickens and fun gatherings with family and friends.
